"Taking a photo."
"Of what? Of the tree? Have you got a new camera?"
"Um yep."
A few minutes pass.
"Ooh what did you take that for? It's boring."
"Cos." When I actually meant "I only had one shot left and I wanted to. And cos I thought this might make a nice kinda boring shot."
I believe I was correct.
