The Mistitled

It's quite nice having a day off. Ignoring the school work (seminar and literature review) you ought to be doing and bumming around blaming your apathy on the cold you're trying to kick.

Read the newspaper. Read blogs. Discover cool things.

Like this. I used to really like Garfield. Then I got older and realised that it was predictable, unfunny, and boring. Dan Walsh has given it life by removing life. Oh the existentialist angst.

And some photos.

From another day I had off.

Ages ago.

The Pre-historic

Places.

Where I been.

With my camera.

And film.

And friends.

The Galilean

So this is what it looks like when I get to hold the moon in my hands.

It's also an example of the crap I do when I've giving up doing what I should have been doing.

Awesome. So freakin' awesome.

I especially like the dive-bombing bird at the end.

And by nice coincidence Radio New Zealand started playing The Galileo Lectures today. Well worth a listen. If you're into moons and things.

The TV

Yeah so in case you missed it, I'm a big TV star now.

I missed it.

But I caught it online. You can too.

It's hosted by the indomitable Chris Knox.

And you can follow his indomitableness right here.

Here's a screen grab of my 0.25secs of fame.

Awesome. So freakin' awesome.

I especially like the pasty skin - thanks summer!
