The Tasman

I've said it before, and I'm bound to say it again, but this internet thing is fabulous. I would never have thought of using it as part of a university course (except maybe for web design or research), but everyone doing the papers I'm tutoring requires a Flickr page onto which they upload preliminary project images for us to assess. It's kinda fun, if a little more time consuming than I'd like - but then blogging is more time consuming than I'd like and no one's paying me for this. Anyway I just spent a couple of hours telling people how bad/great/indifferent they are.

This is my day off, or at least my day to work for myself. So, naturally, I spend some of it on my students (I hope they appreciate it). But I did fit in a lunch with Sharyn so it wasn't all bad. And now, rather than writing the three reviews I'm working on, or getting dinner, I'm wasting time in cyberland telling a whole bunch of strangers rubbish they don't want, or need, to know.

So here's a picture.

It was an idea I had late last year (maybe early this year). But after trying it out I have a feeling it just won't work. It's kinda interesting but there's not enough going on to persist with it.

Here's the positive though.

Much better.

And the same spot shot in 2001.
