The Gate
This lovely wee gate was just up the path from the bowling club. Due to the fact that I was coming down the path I actually shot this prior to the bowling club.
Tena koe ehoa Got your link off sharyn-with-a-y and came to meet a fellow kiwi. Seems you have a profound sense of the architectual styles? ;D Where does the gate go too?
It's nice that someone thinks I have a profound sense of anything. I just point the camera, press the shutter and hope the thing works out.
The gate goes into a small paddock which may or may not be part of the aforementioned bowling club.
The camera I used, given to me by a restless nightcreature, is a 1960s(?) Agfa rangefinder. All you can do is focus, and even that's dodgy sometimes, but the images it produces are fantastic. Part of that I'm sure is due to the complete freedom of not trying to make 'Art' but just shooting for the sake of it.
